Ann has the uncanny ability to see a pattern, put her own spin on it and create beautiful quilts.  I love this simple pattern that is so refreshing and something a girl can do while she is working on something else. I am intrigued and eager to do one like it. I've always said that the most important technique I learned (outside of back basting applique) was half square triangles.  Gorgeous quilt! Gillian got her knitting fingers back on track and knit up a storm of cowls and scarves and hats to match. Cozy , warm and ready for our next bout of winter....hopefully it will be in December or January....not April. Leigh had some fun with these Snap bags using the measuring tape closures...She added some embellishment and made them oh so pretty.  Elsie got this at a garage sale, cut it up and recreated this great quilt. She added the sage green and those are appliqued hearts to bring it all together.  And then she took a panel and added to it to make this marvelous quilt.

Monday Evening Ladies are rarin' to work and just had to show what they've been doing.  This ...gonna be a tablecloth ...was three years in the making...well worth the wait. Ruth did it and blessed the stars as she was doing them.  This beauty is a Jinny Beyers pattern and if you've ever seen her work you'd recognize it immediately.  Concise and definitely border prints. Again, Ruth did an amazing job. Incredible accuracy. Well done! Linda has two grand daughters that love unicorns and rainbows so it is only fitting that Grandma make these bags with unicorn fabric.......  pillowcases to match...... and the first of two quilts with unicorns.  There is nothing like a Grandma's love. Marilyn got down to business with a couple of jelly rolls and made these floor mats.  Interesting technique...so colourful and practical at the same time.  Maybe it is time to get out the machine and check to see how many jellyrolls I have.  Stay tuned.....

Before the big St. Patty's Day storm hits us tomorrow we gathered at our meeting place and had a wonderful show and tell . Here Jean shows the quilt that Carolyn made and asked Jean to quilt. It went to Joyce for the cuddle quilt program.  It will make an amazing fund raiser for the hospital.  In between quilting, Jean, who is an amazing knitter also knit this adorable hooded sweater and with the leftover yarn she made a sweet little toque to go with it. Joan West made this beauty and quilted it.  Marlene got these wonderful flowered squares and put them together in  a gorgeous quilt. She matched the colours beautifully and the arrangement is fabulous. Susan decreed this fella as the last snowman for the winter   and got herself organized with a St Patrick"s table runner. Judith borrowed a book about Irish quilting and made this wonderful wall hanging and practised her machine quilting...she did a great job, too.  She also, is ready for St. Patty's
