November 12/13 Meeting

Another comfort quilt , all quilted and out of the frame.  They are so simple and so pretty. Those hand quilters at our guild are so prolific.. Sheila's wrist gets cold (I know how that feels) and her grand daughter (I believe) crocheted these "texting mitts" or wrist warmers for her.  It's always nice to see how considerate people can be for their loved ones. Carolyn has been busy knitting...here is a pair of fuzzy, warm mitts made with Canadiana and eyelash yarn.  Innovative and really cute. Marj appliqued this beautiful quilt and then she hand quilted it with gorgeous designs.  Great Job ...will look amazing at our quilt show in the fall. Sandra showed us a neat bag she made ...it holds a ruler and whatever else you want to put in there and then turns over to be an ironing mat. Clever...  Vivian Hayward is hiding behind this UFO all done.  I believe it came from the Fabric Cupboard...a fun project and a great lap quilt.
