There's a happy smile.   Susan Snyder won the people's choice for Wall Hanging.  She had made that wonderful Applique Flowers this past year. She had done some applique over the years and wanted to try the dimensional flowers. She mastered it easily. Not hard to see why she won the ribbon. Such a pretty wallhanging.

Here we go,  uprights , bases and bars , all ready to go thanks to wonderful  workers(and some husbands) at the Sussex Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. What a great bunch of men to cart these all in from the trucks and start putting them together .  Many, many thanks to them all.  Trying to get organized with the registration forms and sorting out tags to go with each of the quilts, wallhangings, miniatures and various other 'thingies' we all made over the past two years.  Hard on the head to keep it all straight and this was early, early in the morning. the rows look a little empty right now, but notice how bright the whole room is...a wonderful venue.  Lillian Kyle and Melda MacMillan are two extraordinary designers. Sure would look good on my coffee table...hint!, hint!  Here's our bag lady....Marilyn Wynn can beat me hands down for having the most quilted bags.  This one is a great tote and would make an even nicer purse...downsized just a tad.  I like this one too, it's a Sweet Sixteen Bag made with charm squares. I'm in need of another purse..that one would do. Good thing it is on our program this fall.  Here's another bag...this one is fat quarter friendly.  Notice the fabric...it's Canadian...Marilyn is off to Scotland this fall  and d
