Our Christmas luncheon...I took this picture to show the candy cane reindeer that Cheryl made for everyone in the guild.  She tried to place them secretly , but I caught her in the act. Such a thoughtful thing to do...thanks, Cheryl. Mine is on my tree and staying there until after Christmas at which time I will gobble him up... Here we are just getting organized for a wonderful meal.  The auxiliary of the United Church is the group that prepared the meal and it was delicious.  Show and tell always is a highlight  and after our meeting and  stuffing our faces with wonderful food we got right down to it.  Here Muriel is showing us her Smitten with mitten table runner that she made as a gift...notice it has Nova Scotia tartan...wonder where it is going???  Joan West had some fun with a little twister and made this Christmas table runner.  It's a fun technique...kind of addictive once you start.  Ethel Raymond did some embroidery. For you "block of the monthers " here is a picture of the next step to do over our Christmas holidays. We're Smitten with Mittens  this program day and here is Cheryl industriously tracing the pattern for her mittens.  Jean, Carolyn and Marilyn discussing the table runner...isn't it a festive one!  Jackie is such a happy camper and so accommodating when asked to help.  Here, she is finishing up the anti-ouch pouches she made  before tackling her table runner.  The ladies on the quilt had a great day quilting even with their knees a knocking now that they got it down to one more roll and it's done.  Sherry got a start on her Christmas projects.  Here's her bed "scarf"...isn't it a sweet one...How much did you say you spent on those 'nose' buttons....what was that Sherry?  35 cents a piece, wow!! and a teehee for you. What a sweet baby quilt. Some lucky child will snuggle under that one.  Melda is getting ready fo

Muriel did her homework for the Block of the Month.  AND her Hexie table topper got finished. A sweet wallhanging.....two penquins...not quite kissin'.  Ann  has been busy knitting up a storm. This beautiful sweater is just one of the projects she had to show us.  Two Vivians....showing Vivian Patriquin's homework....she got her's done as well.  Leigh and Evelyn....twin quilts...one quilted and one waiting to be quilted..both gorgeous and wonderful examples of black and white quilts.
